Physiotherapy is a health profession that focuses on maximising mobility and quality
of life with the use of clinical reasoning to select and apply appropriate treatment
methods.
As a company we focus on achieving results, to accomplish this there is a need to
continually adjust and develop along with research for evidence-based practice to
ensure positive outcomes of treatment.
- About Bodytherapy
Nathan Mill (BSc (Hons) MCSP. SRP) is a chartered and state registered physiotherapist,
who is also a member of the organisation of physiotherapists in private practice.
Nathan has attained a Senior level of physiotherapy within the NHS whilst working
with professional athletes at St Helens rugby league, where in both a high standard
of physiotherapy is essential in achieving desired joint goals of the patient and
therapist.
Bodytherapy’s philosophy is to provide this professional model of physiotherapy
to everyone who enters our doors. This guarantees that everyone has the opportunity
to benefit from our unique approach to physiotherapy. We accommodate all age groups,
sexes and activity levels offering this service to one and all.
The initial assessment will take one hour where you will be provided with an accurate
diagnosis and detailed description of the process back to full recovery. Each follow-up
appointment consists of a 30 minute session in which the therapist will be with
you at all times and provide only the best hands on treatment.

- New Developments
Physiotherapy has been widely regarded as a method of treatment for “aches” and
“pains” of the body. This is still the case however there are other opinions identifying
prevention rather than cure. We call this an M.O.T screening.
Bodypro and Bodytherapy are pioneers in this area. By incorporating traditional
methods of physiotherapy as well as the M.O.T screening, prevention as well as treatment
will be achieved therefore your goals become attainable.
The M.O.T screening consists of a one-hour session where the whole body is assessed.
After this a detailed and individualised programme is devised to address any possible
problems identified.
- Quick Advice
Within the first 48 hours of any injury the best form of treatment is the R.I.C.E
routine. Yes it’s true it does exist and research still proves that for the initial
phase of an injury it is the best to decrease inflammation and promote the healing
process.
- Rest
- Ice – 10 to 15 minutes every 2 hours (care with ice burns and altered sensation)
- Compression – use of a bandage e.g. “Tubagrip”
- Elevation – keep area above your heart and well supported
If discomfort or symptoms continue then medical advice via GP, Physiotherapist or
accident and emergency may be needed.
