Winter 2008 - Joanne Storey
Joanne Storey is a 38 year old university co-ordinator who came to Bodypro in February 2008 looking for advice on training and healthy eating to help her achieve her goals of losing weight, improving muscular tone and improving cardiovascular fitness. Joanne was following a poor diet and an inconsistent exercise routine before she came to Bodypro, where Natalie gave her sound nutritional advice and exercise implementation to help Joanne achieve her goals.
Joanne has been training 2/3 times per week at Bodypro consistently for seven months were she has used this time to gain knowledge on how to eat healthier and how to live a more active lifestyle. During Joanne’s sessions Natalie implemented a variety of different types of training ranging from cardiovascular fitness training to circuit training to resistance training. Other than attending Bodypro Joanne’s only other activity was completing walks at weekends.
Joanne’s nutritional intake has changed dramatically during her time spent at Bodypro. She used to eat haphazardly and make mistakes such as skipping breakfast, eating unhealthy snacks, drinking regular stimulants. Natalie advised Joanne to rectify these mistakes with healthier eating like that shown in “Natalie’s 7 day healthy eating plan”.
