Summer 2009 - Anna Hagberg
Anna Hagberg is a 34 year old crossword designer who came to Bodypro in June 2008 looking for help in loosing weight, improving her general health and wellbeing and helping her to enjoy exercise and develop good habits. Anna had joined many a gym and group exercise class in the past but found that her initial enthusiasm soon faded, boredom set in and her attendance quickly fell to zero.
Anna’s diet was very poor. Not only was it very high in fat, but she also ate at very irregular times of day with lots of snack foods in between and very little fruit, veg or water. As Anna spends a large proportion of her day in a seated position this was playing havoc with her weight and body fat percentage. Vicki instigated dramatic changes from the outset with a firm introduction of cardiovascular exercise and a much more controlled and informed choice with her diet. Anna’s training regime went from the occasional weekend walk to 2 Bodypro sessions a week with Vicki and an additional 1-2 home based training sessions a week too.
Anna’s main aim was to drop 2 dress sizes and loose 2 stone in weight over the next year, whilst dramatically improving her muscular tone and cardiovascular fitness so she could feel good about herself once again. She now trains 3 times per week at home with 2 good hour long runs on her treadmill and one easy jog outdoors, as well as maintaining her 2 weekly Bodypro sessions too. Following this constantly improving and changing training programme impressive changes have been seen to Anna’s statistics:-

Anna’s successes are not only reflected in her weight and body measurements but her strength and cardiovascular fitness has improved ten fold, and she is now enjoying and wanting to do exercise and live a healthier lifestyle.
